«باغِ فروزانِ » Bāgh-e Forūzān — The Luminous Garden

I create with humility, aware that I am only one voice in a very long conversation. I am both witness and maker—an artist and cultural curator of Persian descent—guided by the quiet presence of those who came before me. My work does not claim history; it listens to it. Through years of studying Persian visual language, sacred geometry, and spiritual traditions, I have learned to approach art gently, as a caretaker of memory rather than its owner.

This painting grew slowly, the way a garden grows. Each layer was placed with care, much like the weaving of a Persian carpet, where patience matters more than force. Color became a soft prayer, pattern a way of remembering. I am guided by ancient Iranian forms—florals, geometry, and traces of gold that recall times when art, faith, and nature were inseparable.

Queen Anahita, guardian of water and renewal, moves quietly through this work. If this painting speaks, it is only because generations before me learned how to listen.
