«فروغِ آناهیتا» Forūgh-e Anāhitā — The blaze of Anahita

I created this painting with quiet respect, knowing I am only a caretaker of what wished to appear. I am an artist of Persian descent, shaped by long study and longer listening—of color, symbol, poetry, and the patient language of history. My practice is guided by the way an artist learns to look: slowly, attentively, allowing meaning to reveal itself rather than forcing it into view.

This work unfolded like a garden remembered rather than designed. Thick gestures of color rest beside one another as if laid by time itself and moving in gentle conversation. The living figures and pavilions echo into the painting, and the living manuscripts, where storytelling was inseparable. Each mark feels held, imperfect, human.

Ancient Iran lives quietly here—in rhythms, wandering lines, and sacred bursts of colors, shaped by centuries of care. The Queen of wisdom, open her wings through the surface like water through the clouds, unseen yet sustaining. If this painting carries beauty, it belongs to the lineage of time which have taught me to listen to the heartbeat of the life and the meanings.
