Queen Anahita - Susa emblem

This work is a masterclass in pseudo-archaeological reconstruction, depicting in the eternal medium of mosaic. By utilizing the fragmented beauty of the tiles (reminiscent of the glazed bricks of Susa), the artist evokes a relic unearthed from the foundations of history. The central monogram is flanked by towering Cypress trees—the sacred Persian Sarv, symbols of freedom and everlasting life—while mythical griffins stand as chthonic guardians. The inscription '2500 BC' deliberately transcends the standard historical timeline, positioning Queen Anahita not merely as an Achaemenid figure, but as a primordial force of nature and divinity. The authentic value of this piece lies in its texture; it suggests that this royal legacy is not a fleeting memory, but a monument set in stone, withstanding the erosion of millennia.
